INSPIRATION STARTS AT HOME…

In a fast-paced, noisy world, it can be hard to find moments of stillness — to pause, reflect, and simply be. Beauty, for Caroline, is a remarkable tool for accessing these moments. The frost on a leaf, the intense colour of a flower, their intense beauty can stop us in our tracks, make us look closer, absorb, and enjoy. Simply, she aspires to make beautiful things in the hope that they too generate moments of connection each time they are used.

Caroline’s inspiration comes at home, in life’s daily rituals: designing and making objects to use, share, interact with. The cup for the morning coffee, a vase for stems picked from the garden in the summer months. She is continually inspired to make objects that make life’s simple rituals just that bit more pleasing. create objects that invite such experiences into everyday life, woven quietly into our homes and blending functionality with emotional, lasting value.

The humble everyday object should be a joy to use; should function well, please the eye, feel good in the hand.

Design and craft hold equal balance, without compromise.

She loves clean silhouettes, serving her food on snow-white tableware. Having a one-off piece of work in a living room singing in a jewel colour.

She loves great design. Hopefully you’ll witness this her work and enjoy it too!
