How does it work?

Caroline strongly believes in the design process as an evolving dialogue with you, the client. Services can range from just a few hours to days, weeks and months. Simply, the greater the detail the more in-depth the project is. And this will certainly determine the time a project requires.

We don’t offer a set ‘prescription’. We ensure that you get the detail you require for your needs. It offers you the best outcome for your project and with this the best value. Listening to your needs will determine the level of design input required.

As a project develops we might use some or all of these elements -

  • an initial consultation

  • floor plans

  • mood boards and visualisations

  • fixture and fittings specification

  • procurement

  • project management

How we put these together depends on your project specifics.

How much does it cost?

Good design accessible to all. Caroline offers differing levels of service for this reason.

  • Initial Consultation £250 - A great way to get ideas going for you to investigate and implement yourself. Many projects start with this introductory service. It offers great value - actually providing you the client with four hours of time in total. About one to one and a half hours of this are face to face whether in person or virtually. You can rest-assured you’re getting professional input right from the get-go.

  • The ‘Basic’ Room Package £595 - Good for those who want wall, floor, ceiling, woodwork, window and lighting solutions identified and presented. It can be an ‘add-on’ following an initial consultation. Particularly useful for those wanting decorative schemes without detailing to include furnishings and fixtures. A day can be broken down into smaller chunks as ideas develop and decisions are made over a period of 2-4 weeks. You’d have a floor plan, mood boards and a list detailing the fixtures and finishes specified. Accessorising is addtitional.

  • Hourly Rate £69 - Useful to know what you’ll pay if you need a little or more help.

  • Day Rate £595 - This totals eight hours. Larger projects will be estimated over a number of days.

Why Work with a Designer?

Working with a professional saves you money and time. You’ll get a better result and access to trade prices where possible.

The interior architecture, function and flow of the space and the lighting come first. Interior design is not just about choosing the ‘right’ colours and accessories, in fact these are things very much the cherry on the cake and come later in the design process. Caroline’s approach is very much materials based to ensure the finished interior is both beautiful and practical. Working sustainably and ethically are key; re-using and up-cycling. New is not always the answer and sustainability is important. Quality is a primary concern in every consideration and we embrace craft and excellent workmanship in all aspects when developing a scheme with a client.

Most importantly we’re here to develop your vision and assist with all aspects of your project, infuse it with new ideas and take it to another level.

Any questions?

Your style is our style!

An eye for detail is key in any project but details won’t work if the interior architecture, the functionality and flow of a space, aren’t in harmony.

Your lifestyles demands are important and will be prioritised in the design brief no matter the style!
